Matías Muchenik
A graduate in financial management from ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) with a master’s degree in corporate finance, Matías Muchenik has extensive experience in the hospitality and real estate industries, having signed more than 100 hotel contracts in recent years. He has worked in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and other countries in the region, where he served as development director for major hotel chains such as Grupo Posadas, Accor Hotels, and NH Hotels (Part of Minor), and co-founded the hotel group Atelier de Hoteles. Additionally, he has been involved in various real estate projects worldwide. As a founding partner of SFC Worldwide MCCA and MUCHTAN CONSULTING, a real estate consulting firm focused on hospitality, he has conducted a significant number of market and feasibility studies throughout his career, materializing over USD $1.5 billion in real estate project conceptualization.

A hotel executive with a distinguished international career and solid experience in the hospitality industry. His expertise spans all stages of the hotel cycle, including development, openings, renovations, and full hotel and resort operations, with a special focus on world-class service excellence. He has led projects at prestigious properties recognized with distinctions such as Five Diamond, Preferred, Leading, and Small Hotels of the World, reaffirming his commitment to quality and innovation.
Additionally, Carlos has held key roles as an international consultant in the industry and as a strategic advisor for major investors in the sector, providing vision, experience, and high-impact solutions.
